Check Items when Turning OFF the Main Power

Check that the main power is OFF.
1) Turn OFF the main power switch.
2) Be sure that display in the Control Panel and the lamp of the main power supply are turned

off, then disconnect the power plug.

Removing the Covers

1) Remove the 2 screws securing the Rear Upper Cover 1 and the Rear Upper Cover 2. (The

removed screws will be used in step 6 of “Installing the Covers”.)

2) Open the Waste Toner Cover.
3) Remove the Rear Upper Covers (Rear Upper Cover 1 and Rear Upper Cover 2) in the

directions of the arrows.
