option_key
enables AppleTalk-specific functions and parameters, the CLI
tn3270
command,
active RIP, dial-out routing, filtering, and IPX. These features are available
separately or in any combination. Each Annex requires a unique key value for
the features you choose. You must contact your supplier to obtain the key value.
output
_flow_control
defines the method that a device uses to start or stop output from an Annex. You
can choose:
•
none
to disable flow control.
•
start/stop
to designate flow control by recognizing xon and xoff
characters.
•
eia
to indicate that flow control is delegated to a lower level
(e.g., a parallel port).
output_is_activity
defines activity as output. If you enter
enabled
, the Annex sets the inactivity timer
when it sends output from the port.
