Chapter 11 Assigning Remote Addresses
Annex Manager User Guide
Part 2 Setup Mode

Subnet Mask
defines which portion of the IP address is the
network, subnet, and host for all ports and channels on the
Annex. The default is based on the network portion of the
Annex IP address.
•
Last Remote Address
displays the last address of the entire range
of ports or channels for the selected Annex.
No attempt is made to determine the node portion in the assignment
of IP addresses. However, the last octet cannot exceed 255. For
example, if a 16 port Annex is selected and the starting remote address
is 132.245.33.254, you will receive an error message reading

Using Push Buttons

sets the changes you made in this window and in
windows that have an OK button.

displays current values for all fields if you have not
yet clicked

displays a window which explains the
Remote Address
window.
•
removes the
Remote Address
window from your screen
and returns you to the main window.
