Part 2 Setup Mode

Understanding the Async Ports Window

The

Async Ports

window allows you to select the ports whose settings you

want to view or change. It provides port information in its

Async Ports

box

as well as several push buttons.

This window provides port information in its

Async Ports

box. It includes

the following categories:

•

Annex Name

displays the name or IP address of each Annex you

selected in the main window.

•

Port#

provides the number of each port.

•

Mode

displays the current setting for the type of access on each

port.

•

Modem Type

includes the name of the modem attached to each

port.

•

Status

provides the current state for each port.

The information in this box is current as of the time you selected

Async Ports

in the

Setup

field. You can click

at any time to

display the most recent values.

You can select one or more ports by clicking the mouse in the

Async Ports

box.
