Chapter 6 Selecting General Settings
Annex Manager User Guide
Part 2 Setup Mode
•
Boot Image
contains the image file name loaded by default when
the Annex is booted. This name can use up to 100 characters.
•
Config File
defines the name for the configuration file maintained
on the boot host. The Annex uses this file for information on
gateways, rotaries, macros, and services. It must reside in the
/
usr/spool/erpcd/bfs
directory.
The
Logging
box provides the following fields:
•
Log messages at and above
determines the priority levels that the
Annex logs. You can choose:
–
emergency
to log hardware failures.
–
alert
to log all Annex reboots.
–
critical
to log configuration and initialization problems such
as configuration file format errors or lack of memory.
–
error
to log all line initialization errors.
–
warning
to log minor problems.
–
notice
to log time server queries and information about
responses.
–
info
to start and end CLI sessions and Annex jobs created by
rlogin
,
telnet
,
connect
,
ping
.
and
tap
commands.
–
debug
to start and end any Annex process.
–
all
to log messages at all levels.
–
none
to disable message logging.
