Understanding the SNMP Settings Window
The
SNMP Settings
window displays information in the
SNMP Settings
box.
SNMP Settings Box
The SNMP Settings box allows you to enter information in the
Generate
Traps For
and
Call History
boxes.
•
The
Generate Traps For box
uses:
–
Check buttons to enable or disable SNMP traps. The default
value is disabled. When you click the check button of a trap
to enable it, the threshold value in the corresponding field is
set to the number 1. If you set the threshold value to 0, the
trap is automatically disabled. You can select:
•
Call Begin
to generate a trap when an incoming call is
detected or an outbound call is generated by the Annex.
•
Call End
to generate a trap when a call terminates.
•
Unexpected Call disconnect
to generate a trap when a call
disconnects unexpectedly.
•
Forced Call Disconnect
to generate a trap when a call is
disconnected.
•
Modems Failed to Connect
to generate a trap when a
modem failure is detected automatically and the
modem is busied out. The message specifies the
modem which is busied out.
•
Dial up Link up/down
to generate SNMP link up/down
traps for remote dial-in interfaces.

Text fields to set threshold values. You can select:
•
# of calls after which trap is sent
sets the number of calls
after which the trap is set.
