7.6. COMMUNICATION PORTS CONFIGURATION
The serial ports, valid for the IEC60870-101 protocol, are configured in the window shown
in Figure 7-3. The configuration for the IEC60870-104 protocol that works over TCP/IP is
shown later.
Figure 7-3 Communication Port Configuration
Baud indicates the baud rate for the communication and is expressed in bits per second. It
must match the speed selected at the master station for this communication.
Media indicates if the communication will use a Cable or a Bluetooh device.
Protocol must be set to BECO 7000 and IEC60870-101 to use the protocol described in
this chapter.
