2.5.1. DEMAND INTEGRATION
The demand is the average value in a defined interval named Demand integration
interval (DII), with units related to the electrical parameter measured (kW, kVAR, kVA,
etc.)
The demands of the following proART relay parameters can be calculated (see Table
2-31):

The calculation method can be programmed as block or thermal demands.
2.5.1.1. BLOCK DEMAND INTEGRATION
To calculate the block demand the relay uses two user defined parameters;
Intervals to be integrated (IBI):
is the number of intervals to be considered to
calculate the demand. It could be between 1 and 15. For direct integration (non
rolling) a 1 must be programmed. For rolling demand a value between 2 and
15 must be programmed, normally 3 is used for rolling demand
Integrate every (IE):
Is the period of time between two demand integrations
and can be selected from 1 second to 60 minutes. Normal values are 15
