8BCONTROL FUNCTIONS

PROTECTION, CONTROL AND METERING FUNCTIONS

Figure 2-71 shows the window of the Remote Control of the protection in which the

Recloser function (79) is blocked while phase (51F) and neutral (51N) time overcurrent;

low instantaneous phase (50LF) and neutral (50LN) overcurrent; high instantaneous

phase (50HF) and neutral (50HN) overcurrent and the open phase function (46) are

enabled. In this figure, the breaker mechanism is three-pole type.

If the breaker has single pole mechanism (see Figure 2-72), you may issue trip/close

commands individually for each pole of the breaker, as well as enable or disable

overcurrent functions per phase.
