1.5.18. MEASUREMENT UNIT
A separate measurement unit (UM500) is avaliable, providing the multifunction
protective relay smART P500 with more analog signals. It communicates with the rely
via RS-485 bus, using the rear port Com2. This unit performs the sampling of analog
voltage channels (3) at a rate of 128 samples per cycle, same as the one of protection
internal channels, and synchronized with them, so that the sampling occurs at the same
time.
The UM500 calculates the frequency of the Power System, the system voltage
sequence and the RMS and fundamental values of each of the analog channels in every
cycle of the input signals. All on the load side (downstream).
1.6. TESTS AND STANDARS
1.6.1. ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY AND INSULATION
Radio electrical emissions measured in DC terminals.
IEC 60255-25 (2000),
EN 55022 (1998) + A1 (2000) + A2 (2003). Class A limits.
Measurement of Radiated emmisions.
IEC 60255-25 (2000), EN 55022 (1998)
+ A1 (2000) + A2 (2003). Class A limits. Measured at a 3m distance between the
antenna and the EBP with limits conversions according to EN 55022.
Electrostatic discharge immunity tests.
IEC 61000-4-2 (1995) + A1 (1998) +
A2 (2000), IEC 60255-22-2 (1996), ±8 kV levels in contact mode y ±15 kV in air
mode.
Radiofrequency interference immunity tests.
IEC 61000-4-3 (2006), 80 a 1000
MHz frequency range with 10 V/m levels and 1400 a 3000 MHz with 3 V/m levels.
