6BPOWER QUALITY
PROTECTION, CONTROL AND METERING FUNCTIONS
Current THD:
current THD for the three phases at the moment of occurrence of
the maximum Voltage THD. This value is given as a percentage
2.6.6. CURRENT THD
The smART P500 relay has the ability to calculate the current total harmonic distortion
(THD). The relay records the following information regarding such events:
Current THD counter:
Indicates the number of this kind of events that have been
detected including the present one. This counter has a maximum limit of 100 after
which it changes to zero.
Date and time:
Date and time when the event was detected.
Event duration:
Time span of the event.
Involved phases:
Information about the phases where the event was detected.
Voltage THD
: Voltage THD for the three phases at the moment of occurrence of
the maximum current THD. This value is given as a percentage.
Current THD:
Current THD for the three phases at the moment of occurrence of
the maximum current THD comparing over all phases. This value is given as a
percentage
2.6.7. PHASE VOLTAGE LOSS
A phase voltage loss is the variation of the voltage of any phase below a certain user
defined level. The relay records the following information regarding such events:
Phase Voltage Loss Counter:
Indicates the number of this kind of events that
have been detected including the present one. This counter has a maximum limit
of 100 after which it changes to zero.
Date and time:
Date and time when the event was detected.
Event duration:
Time span of the event.
Involved phases:
Information about the phases where the event was detected.
