Description of Commands
3.5.1 Notation
In the following sections, all commands implemented in the instrument are first listed in tables and then
described in detail, separated according to the command systems. The notation corresponds to the one
of the SCPI standards to a large extent. The SCPI conformity information can be taken from the list of
commands in annex C.
Table of Commands
Command:
The command column provides an overview of the commands and their
hierarchical arrangement (see below, "indentations").
Parameter:
The parameter column indicates the requested parameters together with
their specified range.
Unit:
The unit column indicates the basic unit of the physical parameters.
Remark:
In the remark column, all commands are indicated

which do not have a query form,

which have only one query form ,

which are implemented only in conjunction with a certain option of the
instrument.
Indentations
The different levels of the SCPI command hierarchy are represented in the
table by means of indentations to the right. The lower the level is, the far-
ther the indentation to the right is. Please observe that the complete com-
mand syntax always includes the higher levels.

is represented in the table as follows:

In its individual description, the command is given in its complete form. A
programming example for each command is given at the end of the de-
scription.
Upper/lower case
Upper / lower case letters serve to mark the long or short form of the key
notation
words of a command in the description (see Section 3.4.2, "Structure of a
Command"). The instrument itself does not distinguish between upper and
lower case letters.
