5.2 Test 

Procedure

After power up the NRT checks all sensor interfaces for sensors being connected and all options. If a
fault is detected, an error message or warning is displayed. Faults are located according to Section 4.4,
Trouble Shooting. Further tests can be triggered in the UTILity - TEST menu (Section 2.5.11, Test (Built-
in Tests)).

5.2.1 Switch-On 

Sequence

Preparation:

Connect the NRT without sensors to the AC supply.

Test:

The NRT should be automatically switched on without actuation of the ON/STBY
key.

  Switch off and restart the NRT using the ON/STBY key.

5.2.2 

Display and Keypad

Preparation:

Select the function parameter LCD in the UTIL - TEST menu.

Test:

All segments in the display should be shown until the SEL(LOCAL) key is pressed
again.
