Enhanced Port-Channel / LAG  and Multicast Commands

6.10.1

port-channel hash multicast

This command configures the multicast hash algorithm. The command allows the user to globally select the hash
algorithm used for distribution of NUC (Non Unicast) traffic. This includes broadcast and multicast traffic, as well as
unicast traffic to unknown destination MAC address (DLF, flooded). Traffic distribution may be based on Source
address (sa), destination address (da), port number or any combination thereof.

6.10.2

show port-channel hash multicast

This command displays current port-channel hash multicast settings.

6.10.3

port-channel hash unicast

This command configures the unicast hash algorithm. The command allows the user to select the hash algorithm
used for distribution of unicast traffic. This includes all unicast ethernet traffic that is targeted at MAC addresses that
have previously learned. This explicitely excludes flooded traffic (e.g. unknown destination MAC address, broadcast
traffic etc.). Traffic distribution may be based on MAC address (source address (sa), destination address (da) or both
(sada) or IP address (source address (sip), destination address (dip) or both (sipdip). The default is “sipdip”.
