6.1.8

show startupconfig

This command shows either the installed system images or configuration files. For “startup” it shows the information
about images and configuration files used at system startup. For “all” it shows all the information about installed
images/files and the startup information.

The startup information contains markers ‘*’ for the currently active startup configuration and ‘A’ or ‘o’ for the
configuration becoming active permanently (‘A’) or once (‘o’) after the next reboot. If SGA/GA mapping is set the
startup configuration becoming active after next reboot is marked with ‘S’ (for SGA address) and ‘G’ (for GA
address). This replaces the ‘A’ marker. No marker ‘*’ (current active image) or ‘o’ (once) is indicated.

6.1.9

startupslot sga

This command configures a startupslot based on the SGA/GA address.  The SGA is read from the backplane
through the SGA pins as defined by the CPCI standard.  The GA (geographical address) is read via IPMI (BMC info
command).  The commands allow to set

•

default mapping if no other mapping is active

•

a mapping of SGA/GA to startupslot number.

For the SGA address and the slot number the following values are allowed

•

SGA-number: <0..31>

•

slot-number: <F,1..99>

no startupslot sga

The command “no startupslot sga” clears all configured values.

6.1.10

startupslot sga use-ga

This command configures the use of GA address for configuration startup.  The command specifies to use the board
geographical address (GA) from BMC info command instead of SGA when selecting the configuration startup slot.
This setting is immediately written in flash (file “/mnt/os/current-settings”)..
