CP6923 CLI Reference Manual

6.6.20

delete nvram:startup-config

This command deletes the startup-config for a specific slot. It deletes the configuration entry and the related
configuration file. The command checks that the configuration slot number is not used in any startupslot
configuration.

6.6.21

set bootstopkey

This command sets the bootstop key. With this key the booting process can be stopped. The key name is “stop”.
This is the default setting.

6.6.21.1

no set bootstopkey

This command resets the bootstop key. The boot process can not be interrupted.

6.7

Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) Commands

This section describes the commands you use to automatically configure the system time and date by using SNTP.

6.7.1

sntp broadcast client poll-interval

This command sets the poll interval for SNTP broadcast clients in seconds as a power of two where 

<poll-

interval> 

can be a value from 6 to 16.

6.7.1.1

no sntp broadcast client poll-interval

This command resets the poll interval for SNTP broadcast client back to the default value.

6.7.2

sntp client mode

This command enables Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client mode and may set the mode to either
broadcast, multicast or unicast.
