Possible Reason
Trouble may be coming from:
1. Magneto damaged or battery energy
fl ow.
2. Magneto stator coil open
3. Rectifi er damaged.
Testing Solution
Inspect:
1. Test the magneto ability(Measure the
voltage after start)
2. Measure rectifi er output voltage.
Possible Reason
Trouble may be coming from
1. MIL indicator to ECU wire open to
indicator/Short to ground/short to power.
2. MIL indicator open to main relay
3. MIL indicator burnt
Testing Solution
Inspect the item below
1. Measure the resistance or voltage
between MIL indicator and ECU.
Trouble code P0562:Battery voltage low
Trouble code P0563:Battery voltage high
Trouble code P0650: MIL wiring trouble
Trouble code P0627: Fuel pump relay coil open.
Trouble code P0629: Fuel pump relay coil short to power.
Possible Reason
Trouble may be coming from:
1. Fuel pump relay to ECU is open
to fuel pump/short to the ground/Short to
power.
2. Fuel pump relay is open to main
relay.
3. Fuel pump relay coil open
Testing Solution
Inspect:
1. Measure the fuel pump relay coil
resistance or voltage to ECU.
2. Measure resistance between fuel
pump relay and main relay.
3. Measure the resistance between 2
pins of relay
Possible Reason
Trouble may be coming from
1. Wire connection short or open
interval.
2. Crankshaft signal disc wrong
position.
3. RPM sensor wrong position.
4. CPS open to ECU
5. CPS short to ECU
6. CPS coil open
Testing Solution
Inspect:
1. Inspect cable connectors connection.
2. Inspect magneto fl ywheel bosses
3. Measure the resistance between
CPS and ECU.
4. Measure CPS resistance
5. Measure CPS peak voltage
Trouble code P0322: No RPM sensor signal
Reason:After the engine start. The ECU will test the signal from CPS and other parts.
Judge from the signal reasonability.
