Camshaft Timing
Note: If a piston (cylinder 1 or 2) is set
to TDC, the camshaft timing gear of the
opposite cylinder should appear in the
following position. (See picture 054401)
Camshaft Timing Cylinder 2
Turn crankshaft until piston is at TDC
ignition as follows:
Remove spark plug of both cylinders.
Remove valve cover of both cylinders.
Remove magneto end cover (3). (See
picture 054402)
