Removal

Remove Mag-side crankcase cover.

Remove screws securing holding strip.

Remove stator retaining screws and the

stator.

Inspection

Check stator condition, replace it if

damaged.

Check if stator wires are brittle, hard, or

otherwise damaged.

Stator Installation

For installation, reverse the removal

procedure.

Warning

The cables must be into its own position

when installing magneto (Cable groove).

Note:

There is only one position for the stator

(notch in the magneto housing cover).
