10. Place the driven pulley assembly into position and
secure with the nut. Tighten to 162 ft-lb.

11. Slide the fixed drive face onto the clutch shaft.
12. Spread the faces of the driven pulley by threading a
cap screw into one of the bosses of the driven fixed
face; then tighten the cap screw until the V-belt drops
into the driven pulley 1/2 to 3/4 inch.

13. Place the V-belt into position on the driven pulley
and over the front shaft.

NOTE: The arrows on the V-belt should point in the
direction of rotation.
14. Pinch the V-belt together near its center and slide the
spacer and movable drive face onto the driveshaft.
Using an appropriate spanner wrench, secure the
drive face with a new nut (threads coated with red
Loctite #271) and tighten the nut to 162 ft-lb.

NOTE: At this point, the cap screw can be removed
from between the driven pulley faces.
15. With the vehicle in neutral, rotate the V-belt and
clutches counterclockwise until the V-belt is flush
with the top of the driven pulley.
CAUTION
Make sure the movable drive face plate is fully engaged
onto the splines of the clutch shaft before tightening the
nut or false torque readings may occur. This will cause
the assembly to loosen damaging the shaft and clutch
face plate.
