5. Insert the rubber coupler between the center propel-

ler shaft and the drive flange located at the front of

the engine. Secure using new cap screws and lock

nuts.

screws and lock nuts. Tighten the upper frame brace

to 20 ft-lb and the lower frame brace to 35 ft-lb.

7. Route the throttle cable over the top-side section of

the left frame brace; then secure the wiring harness

to the frame.

8. Place a new grafoil gasket in the cylinder head and a

new grafoil seal on the muffler end of the exhaust

pipe and install the exhaust pipe. Secure with two

exhaust springs and two cap screws tightened to 20

ft-lb.

9. Install the oxygen sensor and tighten the sensor to

18.5 ft-lb. Connect the harness to the sensor.
