The following table describes the labels in this screen.
Table 92 OUI Filter
LABEL DESCRIPTION
Port Select a port for which you wish to configure packet type filtering.
OUI Enter the first three octets of a MAC address in the format xx:xx:xx. For
example, 00:AF:FF.
Add Click this to save the OUI to the specified port.
Cancel Click this to reset the OUI field.
Port This displays the SAM1316-22’s port number.
Mode Specify the action on matched frames. Select accept to allow frames with
a matched OUI field in the MAC addresses. The switch blocks frames with
other OUIs not specified. Select deny to block frames with a matched OUI
field in the MAC addresses. The switch allows frames with other OUIs not
specified.
Active Select this to activate this filter. Clear this check box to disable the filter
without deleting it.
OUI This displays the first three octets of a MAC address in the format
xx:xx:xx.
Delete Click this to remove the OUI filter from the port.
Apply Click Apply to save the changes in this screen to the system’s volatile
memory. The system loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power,
so use the Config Save on the navigation panel and then the Save
button to save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you are
done configuring.
