Procedure

1. Strip insulation from the wires.
2. Insert the screwdriver into the upper (square) opening of the terminal and press it into the

opening.

3. Insert the wire into the lower (round) opening of the terminal to the end stop.
4. Remove the screwdriver.

Properties

The DIN rail of the distributed I/O station must be connected to the ground bus (equipotential

bonding).

Requirements

● Perform the wiring with the power supply turned off .
● Securing the ground cable to the Ex e grounding bolt of the mounting rail
● To avoid any interference, the cross-section of the grounding conductor for the mounting

rail must be greater than the cross-section of the grounding conductor on the terminal

module TM-PS-A/ TM-PS-A UC or TM-PS-B/ TM-PS-B UC.
