9.2.1.3. Types of Position Scale

Three types of position scale are available for the user to select the appropriate type for each
purpose. Position scale type can be switched by setting the PS command.

This position scale extends linearly from the origin in both plus and minus directions.

Scale values range from -2 147 483 648 [pulses] to +2 147 483 647 [pulses] with the Home position
at 0. The coordinate value increases in the plus direction. When it e2 147 483 647 [pulses],
the value returns to -2 147 483 648 [pulses]. Falling below -2 147 483 648 [pulses], the value returns
to +2 147 483 647 [pulses].
