Functional Description
Positioning Module
In the case of relative positioning (e.g. clock drive) the software limit switches can be
deactivated (factory setting). Following procedure must be carried out:
• Select position setting in revolutions Pc.1 = 3
• Adjust left software limit switch to negative upper range value
Pc.5 = -32768
Pc.6 = 0
• Adjust right software limit switch to positive upper range value
Pc.8 = 32767
Pc.9 = 65535
The behaviour at tripping of the faults ESLF and E.SLr is defined with Pn.20 according
to following table:

Reaction to limit switch (Pn.24)

Caution, the drive can run out of the limit switches, without stopping the
positioning!
It is necessary for the values, to adjust the emergency stop/braking torque (Pn.60),
the positioning speed and the lug lenght (or the diameter at the initiator) of the
limit switch, that the drive stops at the limit switch.
