Motor Name Plate
The adjustment of the correct motor data is important for a lot of inverter functions,
since this data is used for calculations which are needed by the inverter. Wrong settings
can cause control oscillations and uncontrollable behaviour of the drive.

Following parameters can be taken directly from the name plate (see above) and
entered:

Rated motor current
0,1...1,1 x In.01 (delta / star connection)
- dr.3
Rated motor frequency
20...300 Hz
- dr.4

- dr.12 Rated motor voltage
100...500 V (delta / star connection)
Parameter dr.2 and dr.12 must always be adjusted in accordance with the used
connection (star or delta). This means for the above motor name plate that it is
230 V / 48,5A for delta connection and 400 V / 28,5 A for star connection. It
doesn’t matter that for example the rated output voltage of the inverter is larger
(see „87Hz-chracteristic“).
