MAP 0520: Switch Assembly Environment
009 (continued)
– Disconnect S00-CL-P5 at switch clock card.
– Repeat resistance measurement from Step 008 on page 1-302.
Is the measured resistance(s) in the acceptable range?
Yes No
010
– Check the following for shorts or opens:
Metal busbars on switch planar (HiPS 2.0 or HiPS 3.0 only)
Cable S00-CL-P5 (HiPS 2.0 or HiPS 3.0 only)
Cable S00-PC-P902
Cable S00-PC-P11 (HiPS-LC8 only)
– Repair or replace cables as required.
– Repeat resistance measurement from Step 008 on page 1-302.
Is the measured resistance now in the acceptable range?
Yes No
011
Problem is in switch planar.
– If this is an HiPS 2.0 or HiPS 3.0, replace switch assembly.
– If this is an HiPS-LC8, replace switch planar.
– Go to Step 030 on page 1-307 to verify fix.
012
Problem resolved.
– Go to Step 030 on page 1-307 to verify fix.
013
– If this is an HiPS 2.0, replace switch assembly.
– If this is an HiPS 3.0, replace the switch clock card.
– Go to Step 030 on page 1-307 to verify fix.
014
– Reconnect cable S00-PC-P903 at switch power card.
– Repeat resistance measurement from Step 008 on page 1-302.
Is the measured resistance(s) in the acceptable range?
Yes No
015
– Disconnect cable S00-SP-P102 at switch supervisor card.
– Repeat resistance measurement from Step 008 on page 1-302.
(Step 015 continues)
