– If the resistance was above the acceptable range, check for component damage due to a
short condition.
– Check for any obvious problems on CPU card (such as missing or loose components,
damaged components, etc).

– Replace base CPU card, transferring all cache and memory SIMMs from the original
CPU card to the new one.
– Go to Step 025 on page 1-55.

– Check for any obvious problems on CPU card connector to I/O planar (such as loose con-
