MAP 0110: Supervisor Subsystem
The supervisor subsystem consists of the following components:
Node supervisor card (one per processor node)
Switch supervisor card (one per switch assembly)
Internal cable (one per thin processor node or switch assembly)
Supervisor bus card (one per thin processor node or switch assembly)
Supervisor harness (two per frame)
Supervisor jumper cables (two per frame—PDU only)
Connector card (PDU only)
Backplane card (PDU only)
Frame supervisor card
Serial cable (RS-232)
SAMI cable

Momentarily On: Communication active
Flashing: Problem—cannot communicate with control workstation

Control workstation current communication status (S2-RS232 data terminal ready line):
Momentarily On: Communication active
Flashing: Problem—cannot communicate with control workstation in a HACWS configura-
tion. In a configuration without HACWS, a flashing LED 7 is normal.
Off: Communication inactive
Note: Be aware that there may be communications to the inactive control workstation

Flashing: Problem—no communication with processor node(s) or switch assemblies
Off: Communication okay
