Install a left mounting ear to replacing the faulty one.

Procedure

Step 3

Take the spare left mounting ear out of its ESD bag.

Step 4

Route the mounting ear signal cable through the chassis in the arrow direction. See step (1) in

Installing the left mounting ear

Step 5

Connect the mounting ear signal cable to the left mounting ear connector (J42) on the
mainboard. See step (2) in

Step 6

Install the mounting ear in the arrow direction. See step (3) in
