IOPn.MtcMon status: The CE BIOS base addresses are not compatible.
CE1 BIOS base address = 0xx.
CE2 BIOS base address = 0xy.

x – the hexadecimal BIOS base address of CE1
y – the hexadecimal BIOS base address of CE2
Severity
Error
Description
The base addresses of the MIC BIOS in the CEs are not compatible. The high order 16 bits of
the address must match for the CEs to be compatible.
Hardware/Software
This message is generated as a result of a difference between base addresses of the MIC
module BIOS in the CEs.
Action
•
Make sure that both CEs are using MICs with identical revision levels. If not, replace one
or both of the MICs. See
Chapter 9

HP NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s Guide
for information about replacing MICs.

Make sure that the following MIC information is identical for each CE:
-
BIOS revision
-
Microcode revision
-
FPGA revision
Run the MTCFLASH Utility to update any that are not identical. See
Chapter 9
in
HP
NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s Guide
for information.

Make sure that the CE motherboards are identical.
•
Make sure that no I/O devices (other than the MIC) are configured in the CE.
•
Make sure that the MICs are in the same slot and on the same bus.
•
If the condition persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
