IOPn.MtcMon FRU: Target operating system or subcomponent failure.
Severity
Error
Description
This message indicates a failure of:
•
The Windows NT operating system
•
A device driver
•
Other kernel-level software
Usually, this means that both CEs crashed, or a stop error with screen dump was encountered.
However, it can also indicate a problem in which erroneous responses or requests are being
generated by CE software that interferes with the system’s ability to continue processing. It
may also be due to excessive CPU load or memory requirements.
Action
•
If the system experienced a stop error with screen dump, follow the instructions for
dealing with the stop error as described in any software package you have installed on the
CE.
•
Monitor CE resource usage to ensure that the CPU and memory load are reasonable for
your system.
•
If this condition persists, contact your service provider for assistance.
