Installation and Verification Procedure (IVP) Messages

IOP Link Driver should not be bound to the Virtual Network Provider.

Severity

Error

Description

The HP NetServer AAVirtual Network Provider should not be bound to any HP NetServer

AAservice.

Action

Disable the HP NetServer AAIOP Link Driver from the HP NetServer AAVirtual Network

Provider adapter.

MAC address for the redirected rail number n in the configuration is incorrect.

Variables

n – the number of the redirected rail; either zero, one, two, ...

Severity

Error

Description

The MAC address for the local adapter on the specified rail either does not exist or is not bound

to the HP NetServer AAEthernet Provider.

Action

Remove the specified rail from the configuration and commit the change. Re-add the rail using

the MAC address of the remote and local NICs that are bound to the HP NetServer AAEthernet

Provider.

Alternatively, change the bindings of the Endurance Ethernet Provider to match the NICs that

have the MAC addresses that are configured in the Endurance configuration utility.

For a list of the MAC addresses for adapters on the IOP that are bound to the HP NetServer

AAEthernet Provider, run

mtcivp /verbose
