IOPn.MtcEthP status: An internal state consistency error has been detected on device x (y).

x – the logical device identifier for this adapter (for example, Ethernet0)
y – the Windows NT device name (for example, E100B2)

Description
Both IOPs claim responsibility for transmitting packets on behalf of the CE. This error may
occur if packets are excessively delayed or retransmitted in the network due to a problem
external to the HP NetServer AA server. This message may also occur if IOPs lose
communication with each other over all internal paths.
Action
•
Use the HP NetServer AA Manager to disable and then enable one of the redirected
network devices.
•
If the problem persists, disable one of the redirected network devices and contact your
service provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcEthP status: Device state change in progress.

Description
This message is logged if an Ethernet disable command is issued on a device that is currently
undergoing a state change.
Action
Wait a few seconds and retry the request in the HP NetServer AA Manager.
