Incompatible platform module

Description
The platform module specified on the startup IOP is not compatible with the MIC BIOS. This
error is probably due to a mismatch between the MIC firmware version and the HP NetServer
AA software installed on the IOP providing boot or synchronization services.
Action
•
Update the MIC firmware.
•
Reinstall the IOP software.
Incompatible remote BIOS version

Error
Description
Either a server or client test was selected, and the version of the MIC BIOS on the remote
system is incompatible with the version on the local system.
Action
Update the firmware on all MICs involved in the test.

Description
A test mode was selected from the MIC BIOS setup utility.
Action
No action is required.
Invalid response: message description
Severity
Error
Description
The MIC BIOS received a message, indicated by the description, that is incorrectly formatted,
out of sequence, or unrecognized. This is probably due to a software incompatibility or
software fault.
Action
•
Consult the startup IOP’s event log for additional information.
•
If the error persists, write down the error and message description, and contact your
service provider for assistance.
