IOPn.MtcMon status: Differences in client lists with IOPx were detected during IOP initialization.

Description
When an IOP is attempting initialization with a remote IOP, the lists of clients registered with
the Monitor are compared between the two IOPs. A discrepancy was detected between the two
lists. The initializing IOP is marked faulted until you resolve the situation by manual
intervention.

Hardware/Software
This message is the result of a software error indicating that the configurations differ between
the two IOPs. The client lists represent the I/O services that are redirected by the Endurance
server.
Action
•
Rerun the configuration process performed during installation and ensure that the same
I/O services are specified in both IOPs.
•
Manually clear the faulted state of the IOP by issuing an IOP Enable Operation command
and rebooting the IOP. Refer to
Chapter 9
in
HP NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s
Guide
for information about how to reboot an IOP.
IOPn.MtcMon status: Differences with IOPx’s CE platform name were detected during IOP initialization.

Description
The CE platform name specified during the Endurance installation procedure differs between
the two IOPs. IOP joining will not be allowed until this configuration difference is resolved.
One or both IOPs may be set to faulted as a result of this condition.

This message is generated as a result of a software configuration error.
Action
•
Using the Endurance installation utility, determine the IOP that is configured with the
correct CE platform name.
•
On the other IOP, reinstall the Endurance software, specifying the same CE platform
name.
•
Enable the IOP, reboot it, and allow it to join the Endurance configuration.
