MtcMon Messages
IOPn.MtcMon status: The Ethernet Transport driver (MtcEtx) has not yet registered with the Monitor.
Severity
Warning
Description
When the Endurance server initializes, the Monitor waits for all transport drivers to register
before allowing the IOP to begin operations. The Ethernet Transport driver (MtcEtx.sys) has
not successfully loaded and registered with the Monitor within the IOP startup interval (two
minutes). The local IOP cannot join the Endurance configuration until the Ethernet Transport
driver registers with the Monitor.
Hardware/Software
This message can be generated as a result of a hardware failure that prevents the Ethernet
Transport driver from loading, or as a result of a software configuration error.
Action
•
Examine the event log for related events that provide details about why the Ethernet
Transport driver did not load. Correct the condition, as required.
•
If no related events are logged, examine the software configuration to determine why the
Ethernet Transport driver did not load. Reconfigure the software on the IOP if necessary.
•
If the problem persists, contact your service provider for assistance.

16-bit platform-specific initialization module does not exist or is not valid. The IOP that
