IOPn.MtcScsiP status: DISKn had an invalid HP NetServer AA partition checksum. Try using the HP NetServer AA
Manager to reset the HP NetServer AA partition.
Variables n – the disk number; for example, DISK0, DISK1, DISK2
Severity Error
Description The HP NetServer AA sector was deemed invalid because of an invalid checksum. The disk
will not be allowed to go online until the HP NetServer AA partition for the disk has been reset.
Action • Use the HP NetServer AA Manager to reset the HP NetServer AA partition on the disk.
The disk will likely become a copy target, and a mirror copy will start.
• If you do not want the disk to become a mirror copy target, or if the problem persists,
contact your service provider for assistance.

Severity Informational
Description A mirrored disk may have its HP NetServer AA partition reset for various reasons. A reset can
occur because the partition contained invalid data and the administrator chose to reset the
partition using the HP NetServer AA Manager. Additionally, a reset will occur after a disk is
added to the HP NetServer AA configuration. Whenever the HP NetServer AA partition is
reset, a mirror copy will occur at the next possible opportunity. Under most circumstances, the
disk with the reset HP NetServer AA partition will become the mirror copy target.
Action No action is required.
IOPn.MtcScsiP status: DISKn has a different mirror set ID for each of its member disks. The IOPs will not be allowed
to join until this problem is resolved.

Severity Error
Description The disk does not have the same mirror set ID as its mirror set peer. The disk has been moved
from one HP NetServer AA system to another.
Action Use the HP NetServer AA Manager to reset the HP NetServer AA partition to cure this
condition.
Caution: It is very likely that a mirror copy will occur with the disk that just had its
HP NetServer AA partition reset becoming the mirror copy target disk. Therefore, any
data on the disk is likely to be overwritten.
