IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx is faulted and requires repair.

x – the ID of the IOP that is faulted

Description
The IOP specified in the message has experienced one or more failures that prevent it from
being used in the Endurance server configuration. The IOP remains in the faulted state until
you resolve the situation.

This message can be generated as a result of a software or hardware failure.
Action
•
Examine the event log for additional details about the reason for the failure.
•
If a hardware problem is indicated, repair or replace the affected hardware as necessary.
•
If a software problem is indicated, replace the software component or reconfigure it as
necessary.
•
Once you resolve the condition, issue an IOP Enable Operation command. The Endurance
server attempts to reconfigure the IOP.
IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx is OFFLINE because the /NOMTC switch is present in BOOT.INI.

Description
The Windows NT operating system booted on the local IOP in offline mode with the
/NOMTC switch present on the command line in the BOOT.INI file.
Hardware/Software
This message is generated as a result of a software operation.
Action
No action is required. When the installation, configuration, or upgrade is complete, reboot the
IOP without this switch, and the IOP joins the Endurance server.
