Variables
x – the ID of the client that failed the registration process with the Monitor:
Severity
Error
Description
When a Monitor client is loaded, it registers itself with the Monitor. If the registration is not
valid, this message is generated. The registration fails if any of the following are detected:
•
The client ID is not in the Monitor's ClientList registry parameter.
•
The client is already registered with the Monitor.
•
The client specifies an invalid parameter in its registration information.
•
The client ID provided during the registration attempt is not valid.
Hardware/Software
This message is due to either an Endurance server software configuration error or an
Endurance server internal error.
Action
•
The client ID specifies which Endurance software component could not be registered. The
Monitor's ClientList Registry parameter should be examined to determine if the given
client should be registered with the Monitor. If the client ID does not appear in this list, it
should be added to the list or it should not be loaded.
•
Reinstall Endurance software on the IOP.
•
If the condition persists, issue an IOP Disable Operation command and run the Endurance
server with a single IOP. Contact your service provider for assistance.
