About MatchDef and SetDef Conversion
About MatchDef and SetDef Conversion
MatchDef provides IP stream format conversion for inputs while SetDef converts IP streams for output. For
Media Port conversion, the GV K-Frame XP provides MatchDef only.
Supported MatchDef Input Conversion
The following tables show the Frame Operating Mode (left column) and input video line
and frame rates supported for conversion (right columns), for each mode (purple indicates
supported).
The abbreviation
Sync means that when an input video matches the Frame Operating
Mode line/frame rate of the switcher Frame, the video is being synchronized internally;
even though there is no conversion. This can cause a delay of up to one frame.
Highlighted cells support conversion.
