40 Fuel gauge
Always keep an eye on the fuel gauge.

Never run the diesel tank dry! Otherwise, the en-
tire fuel system would need bleeding.

Coolant
temperature
The coolant temperature should be between 60°C and
100°C.
Continuous operation at excessively low or high cool-
ant temperature can damage the engine.
Check coolant temperature gauge frequently.

Switch off engine if temperature does not match
the specified values.
Check coolant level.

rpm meter (ta-
chometer)
Displays engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm).
Engine speed can be adjusted using the engine
speed adjuster.

Operating hours
meter
The operating hours are only counted while the engine
is running.
Comply with specified maintenance intervals. (refer to
Chapter F)
