Chassis leg guide
There are several sliding plates in the
guides on both chassis legs through
which the chassis legs can be guided
when extending or retracting.
The sliding surfaces on all sides of the
square tube
(1)
should always be prop-
erly greased.
- In extended position, apply grease to
the sliding surfaces of the square tube
with a brush.
Adjust clearance
Clearance on the chassis leg guides is adjusted on either side by three individual slid-
ing plates.
Load on the chassis leg must be supported during adjustment work!
- Tighten adjusting screws (2) to torque preload level (85Nm).
- Unfasten adjusting screws 90° and secure with a lock nut.
- Perform a function test:
- The chassis leg must have virtually zero clearance.

Readjust if necessary.
