(red)
Lights up whenever a serious fault occurs in the en-
gine. The engine is switched off automatically as a
safety precaution.
Lights up for a few seconds to check that the ig-
nition is engaged.

Do not start the engine until this indicator lamp
has gone out.

Error message
(yellow)
Indicates that there is a fault with the engine. The ma-
chine can continue to be operated temporarily. Howev-
er, to prevent further damage, the fault should be
rectified as soon as possible.
Lights up for a few seconds to check that the ig-
nition is engaged.

Do not start the engine until this indicator lamp
has gone out.

Maintenance (yel-
low)
Indicates that coolant (water) level in engine is too low.
$
To prevent damage to the engine, top up the
coolant (water) level immediately to its correct
level.
Lights up for a few seconds to check that the ig-
nition is engaged.

Do not start the engine until this indicator lamp
has gone out.

Preheat indicator
(yellow)
Lights up when ignition is switched on once combus-
tion air to the engine has been preheated to the correct
temperature.

Do not start engine until this indicator lamp has
gone out to minimise wear and to ensure better
starting characteristics.
