num)
Returns the n ' $" $&$% !
& " %&$! , beginning at the
position you indicate ( start ). The first character
in the string is in position 0. A reference to cells
containing values produces an error. The RIGHT
function extracts characters beginning with the
rightmostcharacter, LEFT extracts beginning
with the leftmost character, and MID extracts
from an internal position. For more information,
see the descriptions of the LEFT and RIGHT
functions.
=MID(The United States",4,6) returns United".

in the original string.
