Drawing 232

To show or hide the grid:

1. Choose Grids from the Options menu.

Thefollowingdialogboxappears:

If you select the Snap to Grid option is selected, Drawing aligns objects to

the grid automatically.

2. Select Show Grid to show the grid.

Deselect Show Grid to hide the grid.

3. Click on Apply.

Drawing applies your changes.

4. Click on Close to close the dialog box.

To set the grid spacing:

1. Choose Grids from the Options menu.

Thefollowingdialogboxappears:

2. Select the units of measure (Inches, Centimeters, Points, or Picas) if you

want.

By default, the units of measure are the same as the ruler setting.

3. Select the distance between grid lines.
4. Click on Apply to apply your changes.

Drawingchangesthegridspacing

Drawing can align objects to the
grid even if the grid is hidden.

You can also set the distance
between grid lines. Decreasing
the size increments gives you
finer control when you snap
