Async Ports

The Async Ports setup lets you view and change asynchronous port
information, including modem and interface settings, for selected RACs.

To view and change asynchronous port information:

Create a RAC list and select the RACs you want to configure
(page 2-1).

In the

Main

window, select Async Ports from the

Setup

field at the

top of the window or click

Setup

and then select

Async Ports

The

Async Ports

window appears (

Figure 4-19

). In this window:

•

Annex Name

displays the name of each RAC you selected

in the main window.

•

Port#

provides the number of each port.

•

Mode

displays the current setting for the type of access on

each port.

•

Modem Type

includes the name of the modem attached to

each port.

•

Status

provides the current state for each port.

The information in this window is current as of the time you
selected Async Ports using

Setup

You can click

Update

at any time to display the most recent values.
