Outgoing Box
The
Outgoing
box activates security for outgoing modem and non-modem
ports, and for WAN calls.
The
On
and
Off
buttons control host-based security for access through the
port server. If you select the
On
button only authorized users have access
to the ports.
Host Access Box
The
Host Access
box provides
Restrict
buttons. The
On
and
Off
buttons for
the
Restrict
field activate host-based security that authorizes connections
from CLI to a network host. If you select the
On
button, the security server
authorizes a connection based on the
acp_restrict
file.
VCLI Box
The
VCLI
box provides the
Security
buttons.
The
On
and
Off
buttons for the Security field control user validation on
virtual CLI connections to a RAC. If you select the
On
button the RAC
uses the same user name and password validation for virtual CLI
connections as it does for CLI security.
