Appendix B Configuring and Editing Scripts
Managing Remote Access Concentrators Using Annex Manager
Creating New Scripts
You can create new scripts based on the current values of a RAC. Once
you create a script, you can edit it using any standard text editor.
For security reasons, you can create a script for any RAC parameters
except the Internet address (
inet_addr
), the administrative password
(
password
), the port password (
port_password
), the access control
protocol key (
acp_key
), the Local Area Transport key (
lat_key
), the
option key (
option_key
), and the virtual CLI password (
vcli_password
)
parameters.
You can use
Create Script
to select the parameters and values you want to
save in a script.
If you leave the
View Script
window open as you create a script, you
can check your work easily.
To create a script:
1.
In the
Main
window, select a reachable RAC.
2.
Select
Create Script
from the File menu.
The
Create Script
window appears (Figure B-2, . Create Script
Window). This window is described
on page B-9
.
You can select
Create Script
from the menu first, and then return to
the
Main
window to select a RAC. The order in which you perform
these steps does not affect processing.
3.
Select the
Create Script Options
you need.
