Annex Manager sets security for the selected RACs.

The Security Window
If the RACs you selected in the
Main
window currently use this security
system, the
On
button for Modem Ports, Non-modem Ports, WAN Calls,
Restrict, and Security is selected when this window first appears. In this
case the
enable_security
parameter is set to
enabled
. If you change these
settings to
Off,
Annex Manager deactivates security but does not change
the
enable_security
parameter setting.
Incoming Box
The
Incoming
box controls security for incoming modem ports, non-
modem ports, and WAN Calls.
The
On
and
Off
buttons control security for the RACs you selected in the
Main
window. If you choose
On
, Annex Manager activates the ACP
security server, including security for AppleTalk, CLI, IPX, and SLIP/
PPP connections.
Modem Ports and Non-modem Ports do not apply for ISDN Primary Rate
RACs. WAN Calls does not apply for RACs with asynchronous ports.
